Some are the mothers and aunts of today's Jr. Vikes' football players and cheerleaders. These are from my younger days as a Taylor Lions Cheerleader!
1978 Taylor Lions B Squad Cheerleaders. One of these girls has a D squad cheerleader, D team football player, and B team football player. Another has a C squad cheerleader and A team football player! Yet another has a nephew on the A team this year.
This was the last year for the Lion Emblem on our Sweaters!
1979 Taylor Lions A squad Cheerleaders.
This was the first year we had Megaphones for emblems, and we had tams on our heads!
1980 Taylor Lions A squad Cheerleaders.
We added white and red pom poms and red knee socks with a white band at the top. We wore new red sweaters with two white vertical stripes on the left side.

One of these graduating cheerleaders has a nephew on the 2005 A team! Can you guess which girl? Another has a son on the 2005 C team and a daughter on the B squad.
Macho Man was the half-time entertainment for one of the late seventies seasons, but forgive me for not remembering which year. The memories have dimmed. I still remember some of the dance....but I won't show it to anyone!
